I would like to mostly just designing, all that programming i dont care for. :] i rather stick with flash, photoshop, macromedia, etc. minus the major/hard coding.
Update 1: Well i know the basic HTML, at the age of 16 i have many years to learn other things. But extreme coding i dont like.
Im taking web design 2 at my highschool, and were doing asp websites, which is easy to my understanding.
I never knew you had to learn java, i guess ill have alot on my plate as of when i attend college in a year and a half. i dont mind the math, im good at math, science is what im not good at it, i've taken physics, and probability & statistics at my highschool, seemed pretty okay.
Computer science is the only one. You can do some Web Development certifications but if you want a degree, you'll have to go with computer science and yes it will have programming. You can't be a good web designer if you don't know any programming. Java is very important. I know because I just graduated with that degree in web designing and programming as minor.
